Early Learning Languages Australia (ELLA)
Early Learning Languages Australia (ELLA) is a fun and easy digital language program for preschool children. The program is an Australian Government initiative designed to encourage children to engage with languages. The play-based program introduces children to words and phrases of a new language via interactive tablet devices. ELLA creates opportunities to celebrate culture and diversity, and share home languages. The apps are free and easy to use, and they align with the Early Years Learning Framework. Preschools can choose one of thirteen languages and educators can learn alongside the children.
